This week I spent a most enjoyable day shooting photos of my daughter, Black Cat, for her new sewing blog: New York Paris Needle. This is our favourite photo taken from our balcony in the Palais Royal!
Sigh…it makes me wish I was that age again and still sewing. Very few things have that effect on me.
These days, I can’t even find time and energy to do hems let alone make clothes. I used to make everything once and certainly all of my daughter’s clothes. But she is far more inventive, and we had a lovely time doing the shoot!
What a gorgeous photo and a talented daughter you have. Her blog is great – I’ll definitely have to keep an eye on it for some inspiration – who knows, I might even drag the sewing machine out again for a long-overdue run!
